PRESIDENT
Bettie
Boswell
Bettie Boswell has always loved to read and write. That interest helped her create musicals for both church and school students. Eventually she decided to write and illustrate stories to share with the world. Her writing publications include works for children to adults and from fiction to non-fiction. She has written other works including leveled readers, magazine articles, and contributed to lesson plan collections, devotionals, and short story anthologies. She is a minister's wife, church musician, mother of two grown men, and a grandma. She loves the arts and shares her doodles, and photography from her daily walks, on social media.
VICE

Janice
Miller
Janice Miller couldn’t wait to learn to read so she could read all day. Those reading marathons haven’t happened, but a girl can dream!
Janice writes books with a Christian worldview that she wishes had been available when her children were small. Now her granddaughter is her inspiration. Janice writes board books and picture books, one of which was a finalist in the ACFW KidLit contest.
Janice is a former elementary teacher, Sunday school teacher, and church drama and curriculum writer who has published several articles and poems. She lives in Indiana and is an adjunct college instructor.
TREASURER
Suzi
Ronning
Suzi is published in short story anthologies. She is an executive administrative / financial assistant, writer, photographer, and scrapbooker.
Suzi was a member of ACRW (American Christian Romance Writers) before it became ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers). She is a charter member and treasurer of the ACFW KidLit Chapter.
She wrote her first short story in the fifth grade and was hooked on writing. She enjoys writing romance, suspense, and now children's picture books.
Suzi has lived abroad in France and Italy, but currently resides in her native Texas with her husband, one dog, two cats, and five rescued cats.
SECRETARY
Jean
Alfieri
When Jean’s eyes locked with those of a smooshy-faced little dog who sat inside a kennel at the Humane Society, it was love. He captured her heart and she captures their many adventures in short story poems starring Zuggy the Rescue Pug.
An author, speaker, and advocate for the adoption of senior dogs, Jean finds much of her writing inspiration from her “vintage puppies” and work at the Pikes Peak Humane Society. She and her husband currently live with their pack of fur kids in Colorado. They joke that although the humans pay the mortgage, it’s really the dogs’ house!
